Good day all.

I've got a bit of a Benadryl hangover this morning. I need more coffee.

Mornin'

Its 40 now with an expected high of 70. Whoop! Its gonna be a nice weather day.

Mrs Web is not happy. She had to take the company car out of town for new bank training today.

I dug into the back end of my van this morning to see what I can get to for wiring to hook up the "Bazooka" subwoofer I'm getting off Ebay. I can't get to the wires I'd like to, but I think I can make do with what I have.

Thursday on.

Morning all. The boss being here has really put a cramp in my morning routine, hence my just strolling the forum now. I still have my lousy headache. It is better since I took something for it.

By the way Mema - Happy Undead Day! What did you buy yourself?

And happy anniversary to my house. I am not sure I am going to give the house anything. I installed tile backsplash in the kitchen in August, that should be enough. I guess I could finally get around to installing the ceiling fans I bought.

I got myself Write or Die Desktop Edition. It's a program that encourages you to write. If you stop typing, it will play a terrible noise. Or it has other options, like not letting you save until you reach your word goal, or it starts deleting text if you stop writing. It's evil, and perfect for Nano.

Good luck with that Mz. I would probably get mad at it.

Thanks!  I haven't actually figured out a present for me yet. I've had so much other stuff going on. Perhaps this afternoon I will stop by Macy's and see if there is anything begging to go home with me. giggle.gif  16 years today! Guess my recently purchased new tennis shoes (Sketchers Shape-Ups.. $100!! EGAD!!) and my copy of Breast Cancer for Dummies that arrived a couple days ago really don't count.

Happy anniversary to you and your house. smile.gif You have given your house some nice presents. Hope the two of you at least have a nice evening together.

Well, it's been five years and we seem to be going strong. I kind of feel one of those "I would do more neat things in the house if I could afford it" moods. I really have to stop watching those tv shows that make me jealous. I have just been lazy about getting small things done. I have to get into a white tornado mood to accomplish everything. Maybe I will start small by assembling the ceiling fans while watching tv this evening. Having those sit around assembled and not hung will annoy me more that just seeing a box sit there.

I know the feeling... I have much to do for my house. Some day I would like to have some ceiling fans installed. My house does not have much in the way of overhead lighting. Would like to have some lighted ceiling fans in the bedrooms , living room, and family room.

I can do everything except tie the electric into the box. I feel it best not to burn my house down. Some things should be left to an expert.

I had one put in my kitchen a few years ago. I bought and assembled the fan. Richard (Pambo's hubby) actually installed it for me. He had to move the existing light fixture to do that which involved drywall work and all that. Figured it was best to leave it to someone who knew what they were doing.

I have a hammer, some duct tape and the will to get the job done...when can I start?  biggrin

The sad thing is, you don't need a hammer or duct tape to do this job. I'll give you credit for the will to get-r-done.

Probably not the right attitude to get you the pool boy/garden boy/slave at my house after I win the lottery.

I have something different than ceiling fans in mind where a hammer and duct tape are involved. But, if that is what you want to do... any time is fine. giggle.gif

Come on, Fuzzy... tell me you have never considered duct taping someone to a chair and cracking them in the head with a hammer? If D wants to do the dirty work...

You know, I don't think that scenario never came up. But that would be a good one. I guess the problem lies in the fact that I had never thought about torture techniques. Maybe I should work on that.

What can I say? 20 years with the wuzband... I can name that torture technique in two innocuous items or less.

Hey Fuzzy, I could do you a favor and send my husband to your house to install those ceiling fans for you. He knows how to do electrical wiring and can have them up in no time for you.

Then you could do me a favor while he's there and accidentally on purpose hit him in the head with a hammer so he gets amnesia and can't find his way back home.  winkbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin

Hey! Happy Friday everyone!

Sorry about posting this here. I couldn't find the Friday thread and I got tired of looking so I figured this is as close as I was going to get.
