And now I'm jealous. I would love to get a recurve bow or a muzzle loader for my birthday Christmas! (But I don't hunt, I prefer target shooting.)

Remember the All in the Family episode where Archie tried to get Edith a last minute present, and got her a Lady Gillette shaver?  Too funny!

Neil Sedaka - Breaking up Is Hard to Do

I'm so warped! This song always reminds me of an episode of 90210! LOL!

I love that line: "It could be bunnies!" "Why do they need good eyesight anyway?"

lol,

Dylan and I took a trip to Beloit to see the Brewers class A affiliate one year in the early 90's.

D drove and got lost, so we didn't get there until the 7'th inning (they let us in for free at that point).

On the ride there we had the cassette for Was (Not Was), which we were playing for WALK THE DINOSOUR of course, but when DAD, I'M IN JAIL played we laughed our a**es off for the rest of the trip. We must have replayed it a dozen times.

When I set the playlist up, I HAD to include it. I figured I'd be the only one that ever played it

"Silver Thunderbird" - Good one, TN Girl.  This is an album I haven't played inn a long time.  I think it's time to break it out again.

It's very sincere.  Like he really means what he's saying.

Hearing "Baby I Love You again, I cannot believe that he recorded & had a hit with it!

Which also leads me to seeing that you don't have any Ronnettes on FFR.  I'm thinking I should send a few songs from the Phil Spector box set...

Okay, I have to ask. Is there an issue with the request system? I see that there are tunes coming up but nothing requested. I know I requested a couple of songs that haven't played yet. Or has the penguin just taken over his own station?

Yes Fuzzy, I had taken control of the station for 30 minutes

You see, you people just don't select good workout music. So for my 30 minutes on the exercise bike I need FAST PACED music I can blast on the stereo while singing along to it. It makes the time go must faster.

I'm done now though, so I return control over to you, the listener

Okay. I was just checking. Good job. It is your station, you can do that. I wanted to make sure I didn't break something.

Perhaps in the future you should let us know the schedule and we can plan our tunes around you cycling.

I was thinking about that earlier today.

Maybe next time I workout I'll ask you guys to submit the best exercise songs you can think of.

BUT PLEASE, NO OLIVIA NEWTON JOHN PHYSICAL! I still don't get how that was such a huge hit. It's really a tough song to exercise too. It's very herky jerky.

I can't imagine that a penguin can pedal all that fast anyway. You can even hold onto the handle bars.

Herky jerky is only good if your vertibrea (sp?) need to be aligned in your back and neck. Although you do have to admit that is a tough workout, flailing all about.

I got me a specially designed bike fuzzy. It's only about a foot tall and has huge pedals with straps for my webbed feet.

Starship - Good Heart

Does anybody know if anyone else did this song? I know the song, but it doesn't seem like I know it from them.

I cheated by looking it up, but all I could find is that it was written by Martin Page, although I don't see where he actually recorded the song.  Maybe you've seen him perform it live or something?

werewolves of london;  i took my mom to see american werewolf in london back many moons ago.  she didn't talk to me for about three days.  she was very embarassed because of the shower scene.  i'll have to remind her of that now that we are older.  just a random thought.
