Trish MIA?

It's another Friday and another day with no Trish sightings

I'm beginning to think she works four day weeks!

In fact, Asisson hasn't been around either!

I WANT THREE DAY WEEKENDS TOO!!!

Three day weekends????   Actually I think I've worked them out for most of this month.  The last three weeks anyway.  Gotta luv it

Good point Mo, but I really have nothing on StevieB's line, I can't even begin to think of where it comes from.

As previously stated, I'm really not very good at this game :)

Hey, thanks for all the concern guys!  I'm at home, injured and scarred for life (to borrow a phrase from my son) and you guys are whooping up on me at the 80's song game.

I fell at home on Wednesday night (of all things, going to get my daughter a drink and didn't realize that my foot was completely numb and tried to walk on it, it crumbled beneath me and I fell on my...yeah.).  My son came running down the steps and asked what the loud boom was.  He's 10, he's well past the point of sugar-coating anything.  The scarred for life thing came from him catching a glimpse of me after I stepped out of the shower.  I definitely do not have an overinflated ego.  My son keeps it well in check.  The foot wasn't broken, but it swelled up really big.  I stuck it out and came to work on Thursday and ended up straining my other leg by favoring my left leg.  ANYWAY (enough bitching and moaning) - I'M BACK!  God willing, I shouldn't have any more 4 day work weeks.

Watch out guys, I'm going to get back to the songs!

A likely story.....I'd believe it too if it weren't for that meddling kid and your dog....SCHMACK!!!! (to my head)......Ok Scooby Flashback over....sorry about your foot....but it was fun to gripe about OUR lack of 3 day weekends, injured or not

Hey Trish,

I'm sorry to hear about your misfortune but glad to hear you're ok.

I had done something similar to my foot/ankle about three years ago, it swelled up to double it's normal size and got all discolored.  I know how painful it can be to walk on when it's like that.

HEAL UP FAST!  We like our Freeze-Framers to be at 100%

You know, it really was my own fault.  I had planned a girl's night out this weekend with my sister-in-law (and best friend).  Should have known that something would happen to screw it up.    Oh, well.  We'll reschedule after the holidays.  I'm all better now.  Thanks for the concern.  It is greatly appreciated.

wow I busted my ankle a few years back as well. The doctor wasn't as concerned so much about the fracture as he was with the sprain- "yea you broke it BUT ITS SPRAINED REALLY BAD!"

get well soon!

Thanks, JD.  I'm back at 100% now.  Just a twinge every now and then.  I have weak ankles, so it's a given that I'm going to get at least a couple of twists a year.  It's an old playground injury.  Yeah, never play kickball in heels.  It is not good.  I broke the heel off of one my favorite pairs of shoes and broke the ankle to boot.  Talk about adding insult to injury.
