Responsibility for yourself. (And the kids when applicable). In the meantime, you come and go as you please, do what you feel like doing when you get around to it and don't answer to anyone but yourself (or sometimes your mom). You know how moms can be.

right now I am listening to some songs sorting for the dance show. There is a 10 min song with a lot of spoken word in the beginning that I wonder would better suit College Days
more than half way through the song- it picks up.

"Am I speaking in a language you're not getting here?"
JR's opinion doesn't count. He has no sense of adventure. I love the format of College Daze....it's whacky and weird....just what I need to end my weekends with.
I just had a coworker call me asking what the website for a supplier is. I told her, but she kept spelling it wrong, so I told her how she can find it in the database on her own. She replied in a disgusted tone, "Jesus Christ, you know everything! Goodbye!"
Call her back and tell her it's really not necessary for her to refer to you as Jesus... you like it better when people use your common name.
I've already used that one, actually.
Hmm... have you tried "Yes, I know! Annoying, isn't it?"
A version of that, yeah. I've also used, "I know I don't do anything around here, I really need to pick up the pace." And yesterday I handed a proof to a client before she even left the office and apologized for the delay.
I'm quite the fan of sarcasm myself. Geez... tough case... if it hasn't been done, then maybe "yes, but I don't HAVE everything... I mean after all, where would I put it?"

Right now I just found a leak in my waterbed mattress. I'd suppose that's what I get for having an old school waterbed and a cat with claws... still! Stripey little booger is outside my bedroom door howling to be let in.
