With the exception of the last few years, the Phillies have a tendency to suck in April. That was usually what cost them a spot in the playoffs as they'd miss the wildcard spot by a game or two. So far this it has been the bullpen blowing two games. I can't speak of today since I have seen any of it, but it would appear that both Hamels and the offense sucked.

Well, when I turned it on it was 3 - 0. They then gave up a line drive homer that left the yard so fast they didn't even have time to call it. Very odd homer. It was liked "This ones lined to left and it's gone, wow!"
It was like a clothes line that never got more than 10 feet off the ground and yet made it out of the park.
they got a two run double of their own though, so they climbed back a little.
I'm mad at them too. Hopefully they will get themselves turned around real quick. YOu can't be losing games to the Pirates (especially the way they did) and ther Marlins.

Hey JR - How are the Brewers doing? Phillies suck. That aren't consistent. They had a chance to get going out west with some struggling teams and couldn't get it done.

Three at Petco in one game? Holy cow. That is a big place. The best the Phillies could od this weekend was split with the Cubs. I went to the game Saturday night.
