Fry Day

Thank goodness.

Good day all.

If I don't get a quiet day, I may end up stabbing someone with a sharpie today.

Howdy.  I wish it was going to be a hoops and yo-yo Friday, but by the sound of things in the conference room, it's highly unlikely.

So, last night was science fair night at the school.  Isaac didn't place this year, but he wasn't disappointed (suprising).  There was one kid wailing because he didn't place.  Isaac was going to do the salt crystal thing, but his solution was too saturated and it just didn't work out.  If they don't turn in a science project they get the dreaded "white slip", which is basically a detention slip.  So, lucky for him, a few days ago he found a tarantula in the yard.  I said, "Awesome!  Throw it in a cage and call it a science project."  There were lots of crystal projects, but only one live Aphonopelma hentzi biggrin

Hope everyone has a fantastic Friday!

He "found" a tarantula in the yard? I didn't know OK had trantulas roaming about. We have some good sized "wolf spiders" but still nothing close to a trantula.

We are getting DUMPED on with rain right now. It is pouring down hard. Nice to have the rain though.

Yay! It's the weekend! Party on!

 Only after they've been stabbed.

We have tarantulas --  The Oklahoma Brown, aka Texas Brown.  Usually we don't see them till later; must be the warmer weather.  This one must not have been very old.  It's abdomen was only about the size of a quarter in circumfrence.  We have wolf spiders too.  Those creep me out!
