Yeah, that would have been great. Maybe for the 15'th anniversary I can coax JD out of his hiding place and we can do a cookout.
I've actually got this streaming for several months yet, I bought a years worth and never used it. Maybe if we can round up a few mic's I can get JD to come in and do a one-time show sometime this summer.
I'm not ready to give up on FFR yet. Even if it's just an occasional broadcast!
I was thinking earlier that a "cookout" would be awesome. This time perhaps I could actually listen along instead of just hang out on the forum drunken typing. I was trying to contemplate "appropriating" a conference bridge, but not sure I wouldn't get in trouble for it. We are most definitely NOT supposed to use company bridges for personal use.

"Her favorite time to listen to FFR is at night when all the requests are done playing".....that was so true; I absolutely loved listening at night when the songs could just play in the queue however they came up.
The Doctor ~ Doobie Brothers
JR couldn't have chosen a better song for my dedication!
Speaking of songs that are quintessential FFR, if you have any JR, you should throw some Late Night Drive in the mix.
I can do that.
The last days of the anniversary will be next week. I was thinking that Friday I'll finish up with the full four part airing of the last day, just because it seems right.
But I know this stuff is getting repetitive now. You guys should let me know if there's anything specific you want to air the last day or two and I'll schedule that stuff during the workday so you can hear it.

Yeah, honestly, I just tuned out for a bit since I've heard these a few times since it started.
The last day should be a live broadcast! Yeah, yeah, I know, not going to happen, but someone had to say it.

Surely you'll need to test one for a few hours though, right? ;) But really, if all works well, Skype will do the same thing.
If I had my own bridge, I would most definitely try to sneak that in. The problem is I would have to borrow one. I had thought of using Little Man's, but he would want to know why... and now I think he is using it for actual work stuff at nights.
I do have a Skype account.
