hello all. I am very tired today. I had a hard time getting to sleep last night cuz I couldn't stop itching! I didn't want to go put lotion on because that would have been a bigger problem due to having bandaged fingers. I messed up my fingers when I cleaned the fish tank. Oh well. And my comment box still looks the same right now.

no not from the fish! I have African Cichlids. I was cleaning the rocks and stuff and I ended up scraping my fingertips pretty raw. I had been letting them air out but decided to put some neo on and some bandaids for the evening.

Good Mornoonevening everyone, as I was killing time in the parking lot at work I noticed a car circling around and around the block, we are across the street from the YMCA and they finally pulled in in front of the building. The guy is going to work out anyway so you would have thought the spot 6 places down would have been sufficient!!

the hazzards of keeping fish. I just scrubbed my tank on Monday. I inherited mine from my older sister when she split for Hawaii. It's a 20 gallon Hex tank. When I was a kid I had a couple of tanks. They always seemed to be a hassle. This tank is no trouble. Swap some water every once in a while, etc

morning all! sun is shining in the tulsa metro this morning and looking forward to 50ish again. my driveway just doesn't get the sun for a proper melt, so still using tire cables to get up to the road, but it'll get there.

We have a 55 gallon too, we have had 3 fish die in the last month or so, of course it's probably because they are 8 years old.

oh I would probably be devastated Sparky! There are only about 2 fish that I wouldn't care if they killed each other. Them 2 or so nasty! But the rest I am quite attached to. I have lost 3 fish at different times. One was shortly after we brought him home. He just stressed himself to death and wouldn't eat. The other 2 I am sure was killed by one of them fish that I don't like. I actually cried when my "Fin" was killed. We have since bought another fish just like him, but it's not the same.

We had one fairly big Angel fish die, I think that one was being attacked by one of the other fish, and the gold fish was old and blind. The other was just a small little guy.

My one cat "adjusted" the temperature in my old 10 gallon one time. Fish boil! All the fish died. Then, I had a huge angel fish that didn't get along with the others. So, for several months, he was the only fish in the tank. I finally sold him for $2 store credit. I couldn't flush him. (he probably would have swam against the current!)
