Good morning all !!  It's a frosty one here this morning.....-6 with wind chill making it feel like -20.  Am hoping my internet connection doesn't go down.....sometimes when it's really cold the cable craps out.  Anyway, it's a good day to stay inside and spend some quality time with the family (like that's going to happen with two teenagers in the house, haha).  Hope you all have a great day.  I'll be trying to stay warm!!!

Hey hey!!  How are we all today? 

Haha...I think I like this town now!  A rest day got declared for today...so no work and I get to see the Superbowl!!  Yay!!  I can't believe there is 1 American living in town and he has the only satellite tv connection in Weipa!!  And he thinks the Bears suck!! And I got an invite to watch the game!!  Yay!!!

So looks like for once Monday is going to be a great day!

And here I'm freaking out about our wind chill warning.  I'm glad I don't live any more north.


I'm mad at my vision insurance.  The last time I got an eye exam, we had different insurance, and I went to Lens Crafters.  Well now with different insurance, I only have two places to choose from: the IU eye center, which has limited hours, or the evil empire called Wal-Mart.  I'm going to have to go to Wal-Mart.  I am so mad.  I was thinking about calling Lens Crafters to see if they had any openings today, but now that I know I have to go to Wal-Mart instead (which also means my hubby won't come along to help me pick out the frames [and I totally need a second opinion on that stuff]), I don't know if I'll go today.

Ah, not to worry.

Take away that opening play and the Bears look exactly like you would expect them to, INEPT.

I'm betting they can't score more than 10 points in the second half, so if the Colts can get another TD or a couple FG's it's their game.

Howdy all!!  Hope you are enjoying the game!!  Supposed to be watching the game but an unfortunate electrical storm last night blew the satellite connection of the only person with it in town!!!  It just got fixed 15 minutes ago so I at least get to see the next half!!

I LOVE Superbowl half time shows.  The always give me the chills   Such an extravaganza for 20 minutes!

This is GREAT.

If I remember correctly I think the Packers had a crappy half-time artist in 96.  Seems like since then they've all been good except for Janet a few years ago.

Man...you guys get flashy stuff for your big football events!!

We are lucky to get an ageing Aussie rocker belting out maybe one or two tunes that's it!  We got Billy Idol last year for our big match but some idiot forgot to do a soundcheck and no sound was hooked up!!!  Hahaha!!!  So we were left with no show at all and one pinged off Billy Idol walking off unimpressed!
