We should be having a permanent fix to the micular problems later in the week when we add a mixing board.

Right now they're kind of turned down to eliminate the hiss we were experiencing.  If we don't talk DIRECTLY into them we sound kind of quiet.

JD, bring that mic right up under your nose man!

JD, you are playing through my stereo. I went and got a new set of jacks for my stereo to computer set up. Now, I can play the computer in to my stereo. I may have also figured a way to get wires to my art room!!! I've got a closet where I plan to drill. Ah, home ownership.

It IS funkadelic.

Ordinarily the overhead lights are on too, which are blue & red.  But with the laptops in the studio the glow from all the monitors and the soda machine and the coke display are enough to work in.

Uh huh!

Look how grainy it looks in dark :(  That's the only negative thing with the camera.

Daylight shots are outstanding, but if it's dark it gets really really grainy.

I tried using AUTO setting with no flash and NIGHT SHOT with no flash, both turned out grainy.

I gotta play with it some more and see if I can figure out how to get a better shot in dark settings (without using the flash of course).

I think thats a factor of any digital. its noise in the CCD. If you go to digitalcamerainfo.com and look at the reviews of various cameras, you can see samples of low light shots . . . they all pretty much look the same in the same class/price ranges. Bigger CCD's let in more light and have better low light performance but at a considerably higher cost.
