Happy Wednesday everyone!

February is over and it is now the 1st of March here!  Summer is over and Autumn/Fall is now here...not that it makes a difference in Weipa!

We are on cyclone watch here again!  Oh joy!!  Let's see what this one brings.  We've been lucky with the last 3 except for the flooding rains with the crocs loose in the street!!

And now the town power supply is being turned off in an hour...monthly maintenance...but such a pain in the neck!  No power so no air conditioning, lights, fridges anything!  I hate the monthly power outages.

Anyway I hope you all have a lovely day!

Anyway all...looks like I have to go!  Town power about to go off!!  Time for me to go to bed at a reasonable hour like a good little girl!

Hello all! Well I just started learning a new task this morning. I need to cover for a coworker while she is on vacation at the end of March. May not be around as much at times.

howdy, y'all!  sorry i've been missing.  sick on monday and tuesday bustin' my chops to get caught up.  and now for a new twist...  the SHE BOSS had a major gall bladder surgery and will be out for the next four weeks.  this means i get the task of payroll ---  anyone want a raise?

the team (coach) wants to change their name from the titans to something else, but most of the boys won't step forward with suggestions.   i threw several out there, but they were not very popular.  jake was screaming at me to go sit in the car and the coaches son threw a wadded up paper at me

i like the titans.  jacob suggested copperheads or banditos.  i said the dragons or the sissy pants, power puff girls.  i suggested copping the name of the fearless freaks from the flaming lips.  that's about the time i started getting pelted with the wadded up paper...

LOL isn't fun being the mom. I got to answer the phone yesterday and tell the boy's friend that the boy would not being using the phone till at least May!

so i have been working on making birthday cards Sun & last night. We have quite a few coming up. I totally wasn't doing well Sunday. The flow just wasn't there. Last night I was impressed with myself and liked what I did in the end. However I am having a hard time deciding who gets which one. I can't show my husband and ask him because he gets one tomorrow! So I gotta decide tonight.

And here I am again back for a flying visit! The power finally got switched back on!!  Yay!!!  A busy day for the 1st day of March for me!  So will catch you all soon!  Hope your day has been fun!

10 hours! Okay, that is a bit of a long time. Is it usually that long? (Granted, there was one time that I was a bit too late on the electric bill and went 48 hours with no power...)

10 hours was crap but it's been longer!  Anywhere between 7-12 hours once per month the electricity is cut off for!!  It is such a pain in the butt!!
