I am stunned people are actually bold enough to rob people. Are they just fu*$  stupid? this is by my old university..I hope they get caught and have to go sit in prison for 30 yrs. Dumb sonsofb*tch. Become someone's prison ass-bi%* you living pieces %&$.

Four robberies in UWM area

A team of robbers working the streets around Riverside High School and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee claimed five victims in 45 minutes last night, police reported this morning.

According to Milwaukee police:

In all of the hold-ups, one of the suspects displayed a dark handgun and another rummaged through the victims' pockets and belongings.

Four victims, including a man and woman walking together, told police a third suspect acted as a look-out. The fifth victim did not report seeing a look out.

No detailed description of the suspects was available, and the victims' recollections of the suspects' appearances varied.

The first victim, a young woman, was robbed in the 2800 block of N. Bartlett St. about 7:45 p.m.

The suspects moved east to the 2300 block of E. Newberry St. and robbed man and woman walking together.

Roughly five minutes later, they robbed a man back in the area of Riverside High School. About 8:25 p.m. they targeted a man at a bus stop at E. Newberry and N. Oakland Ave.

The victims were robbed of cash, cell phones and personal electronics.

Police spokeswoman Anne E. Schwartz said victims should call the police as soon a possible after such robberies to help police prevent additional crimes and find the criminals.

...and what about these stupid giggling bandits....glad they were caught....what dummies...I don't know what offends me more...the fact that they are criminally minded or their blatant stupidity? I am offended people this stupid exist in the world.

ACWORTH, Georgia (AP) -- Police arrested two 19-year-old girls and a bank teller in a brazen robbery in which two young women disguised in sunglasses were caught on videotape laughing as they held up a bank branch.

After a brief car chase Thursday, the three were arrested about 20 miles from the bank that had been robbed two days earlier, said Douglas County Sheriff's Maj. M.O. Harper.

The young bandits had given the teller a note demanding money from the Bank of America branch at a Kroger grocery. (Watch witness describe how young the robbers looked Video)

Police declined to reveal what the note said or how much money was stolen. The branch is in an upscale Cobb County neighborhood 30 miles north of Atlanta.

Ashley Miller and Heather Johnston, both 19, and Benny Herman Allen III, 22, were charged with felony theft and marijuana possession, said Cobb County Police spokeswoman Cassie Reece. Michael Chastang, 27, also was arrested and charged felony theft and drug trafficking, authorities said. It wasn't clear if they had attorneys.

"It was a conspiracy to take money from the bank," Reece said. "They were in on it."

Maybe the UWM thing has some correlation to what happened at my workplace...there's been a rise in gang organized crime again. Too dumb to be Mafioso type stuff, but it seems to happen every year about this time.

There's a rise in organized robbery in the Christmas shopping season and then again in the March/April timeframe every year in Milwaukee, unfortunately. We get alerts at work because of the security concerns.

maybe we should take the jail downtown, add about 3 dozen more stories to it and make it a big prison that looms over the town, reminding the criminally minded that that will be their future home.

In Kroger? On top of it all, they tried to rob a grocery store bank? Those are always in front of the store, in front of the checkouts, where EVERYONE can see you! Idiots!
