Pambo Update:

Sleep, sleep, sleep.  That's about it.  My doctor has basically thrown his hands up & said, "Here's some pain meds.  Go to bed."  So I have.  I'm at home until 3/23.  I've only left the house to go to my son's basketball games (they won their division!) or when someone else is driving (when I'm medicated).  My sleep cycle is also all messed up so I'm up all night & sleeping all day.  Makes for a pretty lonely existence. 

Mema has come to visit me but I'm pretty pathetic.  I've ended up blowing her off a couple of times because I feel cruddy.  I'm pretty sure there's a conspiracy between my family & my friends trying to make me get up & out of the house.  I'm doing my best to be a hermit though. 

I've contacted the local chapter of the Trigeminal Neuralgia Association.  They've given me names of doctors in the area that may be able to help me.  Neurologists, neurosurgeons, acupuncturists...the whole gamet.  I've got a couple of neurologists at the University of Kansas Medical Center trying to figure out what to do with me.  I'm really working on getting better...that was my New Year's resolution so I'm still working on keeping it.

That's about it.  I'm in a holding pattern for now.  Nothing much else to report.  Man...I HATE being a bummer... null

I agree! If you feel like coming here and griping- please do. I do! I am praying for you and your family and the doctors who treat you. Keep up your spirits! I know one thing, you have one good friend there on your side :)
