Thank God she is okay.  I met her at the scene she was all shook up.  She is doing much better now.  She's spending the night here back at home with me, so I can drive her to work in the AM.  She may be sore...here's her car at the crash...

She's claiming she is fine, and is just hanging out on the couch next to me tonight. It's late I don't know if I'm going to be up much longer.

I know it doesnt hurt to bad right now but trust me, it will about 4:00 AM, I felt fine after the accident I was in too, but it started getting stiff and hurt more and more.

That is what I keep telling her, plus you brace yourself so much during the accident that all your muscles hurt.  You tense up everywhere.

Oh man! I'm glad she's not hurt, though I wouldn't be surprised if she gets bruised from the seatbelt. It's good she's got a good mom to take care of her. How did it happen?

So, judging from the photo, if I had to guess, I'd say someone decided to change lanes in front of Kaisha without checking their side-mirror.  Correct?

That's right Riggs some jackass pulled in her lane and slammed on his brakes causing her to slide into the "jersey barrier"  no citations issued, but after that jackass caused the accident they kept on going.

Well she woke up sore the next day, she took a vicadin, which she had from when she broke her foot back in December, and that made her feel better.  She has a bruise from the seat beat on her neck, and today we should know more about her car, if it's totalled or what she can do.  She called and put in a claim on Friday, but they said they would call her back today.

She's lost without her car, I have had to bring her to and from Providence, where she lives now, and bring her to work on Saturday......  Just like the old days, where I'm carting her around all the time.

sorry to hear about the wreck.  so glad that she was not seriously hurt.  is her ride fixable?  it sucks to be without wheels!

Oh man, being without a car is one of the worst feelings in the world. My first car was my ticket to freedom, and I feel so tied down whenever I'm without one.

Not sure if it's fixable... the insurance co, hasn't even called her back yet.  It's not drivable that's for sure...
Appraiser has to still take a look at it.

She isn't old enough for a rental, you have to 25 to rent a car, so she didn't have that coverage on her policy.

It's mom's taxi once again...I'm her taxi driver

Man, what insurance company does she have? When I had plain old hail damage, I called on a Saturday, and they were apologizing that the appraiser couldn't look at it until Monday morning (obviously, he was looking at a lot of hail damage that weekend). If I had picked a body shop, I could've left Monday morning with a check and had it fixed by the end of the week. So, you may want to do a bit of research on body shops in case you have to take it in so she can get it fixed quickly.
