Howdy,

My mother-in-law has had a bad cold for a few days. Yesterday, she was already scheduled to go to a bigger city about 65 miles from here for her monthly cancer/health checkup. During the checkup, they decided that she has pneumonia and put her in the hospital there. So, my wife is taking the day off to go back there and be with her mom.

She is 83, has cancer, and is very weak and tired already. This will not be good for her. Hopefully they will let her come back home and be in our hospital here.

It looks to be a nice day here . . . 57 now with a high of 70.

I better get a kid up and ready for school.

well it's another tired day for me. I really hope I can concentrate and get my work done. next week is when I gotta take on that other job while my coworker is on vacation and that will also be a payroll week.

been so busy this week. yesterday sure felt like thursday at the office
tulsa metro weather: temps in the 70's and possible thunder boomers.

my drive to work today... isaac is noticing all the trees in bloom; "look a white tree... a pink tree... did you see that yellow and that red?" i tell him, "yes, son. it's so beautiful!" then he finishes with "what a show!"

My wife called.

They are giving her mom a bunch of platelets right now to give her blood a boost. They are going to put her on dialysis later today due to kidney issues. She will have to stay there in the hospital at least three more days for dialysis.
