Healthier snacks

I am trying to quit buying junk food. I always have plenty of fresh fruit and veggies on hand, but my family still wants to reach into a bag and think they are getting some pleasure! So I have been trying out some new things. I have been buying the 100 calorie servings- even though they cost more and I know portion size, I am trying to train my family.

Emily now is okay with the cheese flavored rice cakes/chips instead of Cheetos!

Last night I bought something new called Flat Earth Baked Fruit Crisps- they are really good! They have a whole line:

Anyone else got some good ones?

Hm, where do I start... Now that I can't have the regular junkfood, I've had to switch.

Fruit leather. It's kind of like a fruit rollup, but thicker and 100% fruit.

Organic yogurt. Regular yogurt is probably okay, but it's likely it'll still have added sugar (in the form of corn syrup). And a lot of the organic yogurts even have flavors like non-fat chocolate.

Pita chips come in both savory and sweet flavors. I like to get the Greek Isle pita chips from the Garden of Eatin brand, and use them with salsa.

I also eat a lot of nuts. I get the unsalted kind from the bulk bins. I don't like my nuts salted, but if someone in your family does, just salt them yourself, there will still be less.

I've had the new pita Chips, but not what I think you are mentioning- these are a name brand, but I will look for your kind- I love greek stuff!
