Actually, I did color his eyes green, but once it shrunk down for the avatar, you can't tell.

I love pets too- but have always had bad luck as an adult- runaway, etc... but we have said when E turns 5 we will get her one. We are leaning towards a golden retriever!

We are watching my BF's brother's Golden Retriever while he's living at his mother's house. He and his Wife are in the middle of a divorce. And when it's final he's going to find a place and take it with him.

But on that note, I thought I'd tell you that this Golden Retriever sheds A LOT!!! She also poops extra large "lawn bombs" .... So, do your homework, as much as I love Golden Retrievers, I am not to fond of that part...

Most dogs shed a lot- at least in the larger breed. I want either a yellow or lab or retriever, so I think the long hair might be best. Also you might be getting him during a spring shed?

I might change, but I want a large dog, maybe one day a small one too. We want to start off right and I want the dog to be able to go to work with Duane and on the boat.

I REALLY think you got something there.  The coloring really adds to it.

I bet you could win an award for that photo on some pet sites that hold competitions for that type of thing.

I do think Darlene would win Grand Champion with Rex, but I think JR and Web's dogs are winners too. My favorite pix though is Mz Hartz cat. That's toooooo cute!! My avatar today is of my older daughter and our Jack Russell/ Rat mix That's not a misspell. He IS a !! He's named Eddie (for Eddie George #27 and Eddie Van Halen).
