Processing pictures

My digital camera has been on the fritz for awhile so I bought a few disposables for back up. I have two to get processed, but most instore processing stinks- ie- Target, Walmart, Kmart. Maybe quick and cheap but not worth saving on in my opinion.

Anyone have an online one they prefer?

hmmm?? I haven't had to use a "Real" camera in years, so I am so out of touch when it comes to film and developing.

I had a lab near me that did a spectacular job, and although they were very expensive, I always stuck with them, because any time I tried another, the quality couldn't compare.  And my family are all major picture people, so we must've spent several thousands over the years!  I used to joke with the owner that I paid for his kid's college education.  With the popularity of digital cameras, that business went OUT of business, so I had to look elsewhere.  And I tried many different places, and was very frustrated until I went to Costco.

Maybe it's a local thing, but I love our Costco photo department.  The phot staff is very very knowledgable.  And I am ANAL when it comes to pictures!  The prices are very cheap, but they always come out great.  And if they don't come out great, they'll redo them for you with no problem.  In fact, this staff is so good, they usually know before you even see it, and do it over themselves.  One time I had a picture made into a 5x7, just because the subject was kind of far away, and I thought I could get it a little bigger, then crop it down to a 4x6, it would be a little better.  I didn't say anything to the employee about what I was thinking, but he automatically zoomed in on the subject as well as doing the 5x7, and he said "Hope you don't mind - it just seemed a little far away.  If you don't like it this way, I'll redo it for you right away without zooming in."  I loved it, of course.  They know their stuff.  And they're very generous - if they do a picture, then think it's a little light & redo it - they'll give you the lighter one for free.  In fact, I always seem to end up with extras for no charge.  Which is nice, because I am a picture FREAK and love to share them with anyone & everyone.

Again, maybe it's a local thing?  But it could be worth a try.

Yeah, maybe test the waters with just a couple of reprints or something.
Let me know.

Well they are pictures from Emily's birthday and her trip to the circus off a disposable camera, but I really hate cheap processing. Those disposable cameras can produce some good pix.

Thanks again!
