they dropped an asprin on the stove and it burned when they cooked. The smell almost made her sick, she thought it was her husbands cooking.

That was a bad night!! He was cooking taco meat with venison. He just kept saying venison always smells bad. He couldn't smell what I was smelling. He started to get mad and said something about "well I don't know what you are gonna eat then"  When we went to serve up the plates is when I remembered about the aspirin he dropped.

So what you are saying is it smelled more like Bayer meat instead of venison!

Do you have ANY idea how tempted I am now to try throwing an aspirin on a burner to see just how bad it smelled?

Mostly just out of curiosity of how stuffed up your husband had to be to NOT smell it I think.
