Hello all! Tonight will be a late night for me. I have to renew my CPR training after work. It's mandatory here and since we no longer get paid inservices- it will be unpaid. When we get home I am guessing that we will watch Survivor while flipping over to see game one for Red Wings playoffs. Then we can tape the rest of the shows and just watch the game.

Good day all. Another potentially busy day for me. I've got to run by the library, do all the other stuff that I've been meaning to do all week, and tonight I have a herbalism class.

it snowed most of yesterday but didn't stick. Then we got sleet but today the roads were fine.

Last night my wife says "I have a question for you and I'd like you to think about it." I thought "uh oh, what have I done now?". She said that Keith Urban is going to be in the Qwest center in Omaha on July 28th and wanted to know if I would "like to go". She went on trying to sell me on it by talking about how much great guitar there will be in it, etc.

My first thought is no, I wouldn't "like" to go, but I said I'd think about it. As I thought about it this morning, I remembered our 20th anniversary is the 25th, what a better way to show her how much I love her than to take her to go see her one true love?

I'll probably tell her we can plan on going.

I think your "sacrifice" would make an excellent anniversary gift to your wife!!  Who knows, you may even get lucky afterward

Yeah, it would be without the boy. She did mention that we ask our best friends in Lincoln to go with us. If we do that, we'd probably be staying at their house. Their anniversary is the same day as ours so they might have other plans themselves.

I know its weird that our friends were married on the same day as us, but that is because I used to work with this guy. Vacation there was a two week total shutdown and you had to take your vacation at that time. So, we both planned our weddings around our forced vacation schedule.

 

Hi all! Another busy, crazy day, but a good one! Sounds like I'll be travelling again soon, though I do not know where yet...in about a week or so they'll ship me off to 2 or 3 places to site research for next year's conference. So it'll be major cities in GA, LA, TX, OH, or TN. Dang, I hope it's not OH! I wouldn't mind revisiting LA or TX again...keep your fingers crossed I get a good pick!

Hahaha! Yeah right...have laptop will travel!   It's another one of thosw whirlwind trips that leave you waking every morning saying "what city am I in?"
