It's currently 32, and I don't believe it's supposed to get much warmer than that. At least the sun is out today.

I took an herbalism class last night. Today I think I'm going to go get me some books and supplies.

Morning everyone......it finally stopped raining and the sun is shining today....it's supposed to reach 47; will seem like a heat wave after the cold temperatures we've had all week.

Ruby, I hope your daughter has a lot of fun on her T-ball team!!  I love to watch the little ones play....hope you take some pics and post them for us!

Mz, forgive me if you've already posted about this and I missed it, but is the herbalism class for self-healing purposes/keeping the body healthy?  I have a cousin that's really into this kind of stuff......he's always after me to give it a try, but truthfully I don't know that much about it.  I know it seems to be working for him though.....he hardly ever gets sick. 

Anyway, have a great day everybody!!  Smile.....it's Friday!!!! smile

Howdy Folks,

Its 35 here and only expected to get to 43 for a high.

I have an eye appointment at 3:45. I'm planning on getting new glasses this time, I think I've had these for three years now.

As one who tries to learn from past mistakes, I think its best that I pull back from a frustration before it returns and simply attempt to avoid it before doing something regretful.

Ghost... Yep, it's herbs for healing purposes. The class gave a few recipes, but since there are literally hundreds, it focused more on how to prepare them and what form is best for what you're trying to treat. Now I know how to make tinctures and salves and properly make herbal tea, and pastes, etc. And stuff like dosage and shelf life, where to find high quality herbs, etc. Since most books tell you what herb treats what, but they don't always tell you how to use it.

There is a guy I work with who has to give you a detailed explanation to every subject you talk to him about.

For real: If you asked this guy "what time is it?", he'd tell you how to build a watch.
