My wife and I just finalized plans to vacation in Iceland in late June. Everything we've seen and heard says it should be a great week...but I'm always looking for advice from season visitors!
Why Iceland....well we were looking for a non-stop flight from Orlando and guess what, two times a week Iceland Air flies from Orlando, non-stop, to Iceland.....
I'm gonna try and find out if Magni from Rock Star is performing any where when we are there...I always liked him on that show.
Last things is when we arrive it will be the 2nd longest day of the year...there will be a whopping 18 minutes of darkness...thats' gonna be very weird....
SG, I've never been there but my brother was stationed there for 6 months for a duty tour. He was in Reykjavik. If there's anything you'd like to know, send me a message here and I'll send him an email to see if he can help you out.
wow! i have to admit that iceland would never have come to mind as a place to vacation... you will definately have to post pictures. oh, yes and is the penguin going with you?

I'll have to get a pengiun to bring.....but you know penguins don't go to the artic...only puffins!
