In the next upcoming days while these beautiful, educated, slain students are being laid to rest, let's show our support to them, and VT by changing our avatar to the Virginia Tech ribbon avatar...... tears.gif

We may not be able to do much, but we can show our support.

Thanks Jules, I don't even know how much of the story has hit the airwaves out in Australia, but as the mother of a 21 year old college student, I cried my heart out last night during the vigil they held, which was televised.

It hit me harder than 9-11 I think.

My thoughts are with the families.

Thanks for the help Darlene.

We have had a tonne of coverage!  We get newscasts every half hour so we get updated pretty frequently with what is going on!  It is so sad!  I may be in a remote location but I tell you now...we get the world news before we get Australian news over here!

Thanks for this link Sparky.  I went and read about a few of the students and will return back to it later to finish.  May they rest in peace.
