Hello all! I need to be busy today. I have been slacking and need to focus on work. I'm a bit in a funk anyway. Not a good hair day. I have no idea what I did wrong. Yesterday one of our consumers died that I think I mentioned before. I well up when I allow myself to think about it. She was one of the first consumers I was assigned to work with when I started here. cry

Anyway tonight I might go and try a new makeup look. Then we have to go to Home Depot to pick up paint supplies because we will be painting the bathroom since we will be able to open the windows this weekend. smile

yeah I cut it Wed night. Yesterday I liked it. Today it didn't want to cooperate and I am not happy with it. But I think it's just what it's doing today. Overall I think I like the cut. It's kinda like this which was not intentional:

but mine isn't cut as close to my head as this. It's more bobby with more movement. This is the pic I showed her but she didn't cut it exactly like I wanted:

Morning all.

Woo, I'm sorry to hear about your bad news hmm.gif

We're starting a stretch of great weather here.  Sunny & warm, getting warmer every day until we reach mid seventies on Sunday!  clap.gif

I finished researching that PSP.  Extra thanks to all the people that gave me some insights to it.

A couple things have put me over the edge on it.

1)  All the major games are about 40% less on the PSP than they are for a regular console.

b)  Activision has something called the Activisiion Retro Mix, which is 40 games from the olden days (pitfall, keystone cops, etc) for only $19.99!

3)  I HAVE to buy and play Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories because it's got Phil Collins, Phillip Michael Thomas and is set in the 80's.  IT LOOKS AWESOME!

d)  It looks like PSP games on ebay go dirt cheap.  A ton of them closed at .99 cents yesterday.  It would be easy to build a nice collection of games that way.

SO, I'm off to the gas station to turn in my fuel points (you earn them when you buy gas) and get my $100.00 Circuit City gift card, then I'm off to Circuit City for the console and Best Buy for the games (better prices).

what kind of styling product do you use on it?
i think if you use a bit of styling wax to "piece" it that would do the trick.

I have so much crap it's unbelievable! A little of this or that. Just trying to use what I have before I go get some new stuff. I have been piecing it with some pasty stuff but today it did not look good. I have also been trying to flatten the ends some to give it a more rough look. I may try to straighten the whole thing just to see how it looks. I have been blow drying it which is giving it that more bobby look. Not that it's bad, but I wanna play! smile

How about a hair straightener Woo, that could bring it to that wispy look.

I have bangs I could never have a cut like that...every time I try to grow out my bangs, I just can't they drive me nuts and I end up cutting them again. hmm.gif

I can't go short with my bangs or I get what my mom and I refer to as the water buffalo look! But I've grown them out and it's just too plain for me. So right now I have pseudo bangs, or more like short layers in front.  Kind of like this, but mine only looks like this on a really good day!  (And I do kind of part it like that too):

When I cut mine short, it looked kind of like this.  My friends all said it looked great on me, but I hated it.  It never looked right, and it just didn't fit my personality:

I like the cut Woo!!!  Wish I could grow out my bangs cuz I'd go with something like that too, but like Darlene, I can't stand it when they start hanging in my eyes. 

There's lots of hair waxes out there that will give you that pieced, edgy look you're after....but I'd stay away from hair cement....that's some nasty stuff to try to get out.

I'm not completely bang free. I have some whispy's along the side. My hair wasn't all one length to begin with. And although I hate maintaining bangs I always feel the need for them. So we will see how long I last w/o full bangs! But so far so good. smile
