Happy Saturday, All. It's summposed to be sunny and 80 degrees today. I'm hoping so! Looks like it is going to be sort of a busy day here at the shop. After work I'm planning on heading over to the reserve air base here in KC. The 24th Marine Division is coming home from Iraq today and the Patriot Riders are escorting the 45 local soldiers from that Division back to the base. It should be a really cool sight to see, plus it will be nice to say thank you to the soldiers for their service.

Looks like it is going to be another one of those "springs". We are going from 50's and 60's all last week to 80 today and 90 tomorrow.

I gotta get started on my normal Saturday morning server backups/maintenance then it looks like its a cleaning day here.

Got the crabgrass preventer and fertilizer down and the pretty yellow flowers sprayed with "Weed B Gone". Now in a day or two, I need a little more rain to wash it all in.

Its warming up nicely out there.

Phew what a day watched an hour of Message in a Bottle from 6:45 am til everyone started to stir at 8. Read the paper, showered, headed out with kids in tow to Walmart for three cards and to deposit my state refund check, off to Marshalls to buy a housewarming gift, to teeball for a game, to Quiznos for lunch, back to the field for pictures, straight to Ready, Set, Jump where as we were entering, some were leaving- we had cake and said hi to the birthday girl and then headed to drop off some stuff at the consignment shop, to a housewarming party ten more miles away, played with their puppy and ferret for an hour (actually E tortured the poor things) back to the consignment shop for my money, dropped the kids off and then went to the grocery store and spent $200!
