This is based on a sci-fi cartoon that used to be on MTV. It's basically about a utopian society that really isn't utopian, and a group of rebels trying to overthrow it. Aeon Flux is one of the rebels, and she's assigned to assisinate the leader, but something goes wrong.
It was kinda hokey at times but pretty good. The visuals were great, I wish I would've seen this in the theater. Even though it tended to get a bit cheesy, it kept my attention and I liked the story.
I'm guessing they wouldn't have been able to hold the general audience's attention if they didn't talk in the movie, but it would've been cool.
It really was only similar to the cartoon, not really turning the cartoon into a movie. I don't remember a whole lot about the cartoon, but I believe they changed quite a few things.
There was a ton of changes, but as the cartoon on MTV evolved, it too changed, yet stayed stagnant in ways. I loved the first year or so it was on. then there was a break, then it came back and all the stuff that was on liquid TV got changed and it was pretty much just aeon flux. I wasn't realy disapointed because I had seen many of the changes in the cartoon. it was better when it was shorter, rather than a feature. But if you are a fan, or have an intereest, check it out and you might not be disapointed either
