Pretty good. Especially now that the person who had been there for 3 weeks has gone. (She was the first pick, but she didn't work out.) She stayed for a couple days, but it was obvious she had no clue, so I'm kind of glad to have her out of the way so I can start learning something.

Well, I tried it today and it didn't work. I'm wondering if the speakers are plugged into the wrong spot. I'm going to work on it again tomorrow.

I'm not comfortable sneaking on the forum quite yet.

I am lovin' it here so far! (Still not playing on company time yet, I'm at lunch right now.) Unless something else comes up, my task for this afternoon is to look at catalogs!

Not much more to tell. It's been pretty slow. I've looked through tons of catalogs, and saw some pretty cool stuff. There's some really neat ideas on things you can put your logo on. A lot of my job is ad-specialities, which is stuff like pens and cups and shirts and stuff you can put your logo on as giveaways. Next week I'll be designing deposit envelopes for a bank, a roll up display, a tote, and probably be working on a newsletter (all for different companies).

It's been fun so far, and everyone there is great, and I really don't anticipate any change. The guy I'm ultimately replacing (I guess technically I'm replacing the lady that replaced that guy but didn't work out) is the only person the owner has ever had to fire, so I figure that's a good sign.

Another perk is the way they pay. A lot of companies now only pay every two weeks, do direct deposit, and you get your check deposited a week after you actually worked. But here, the last day of the work week is Thursday and I get my check on Friday. I already got my first paycheck!
