We aren't allowed to go to Cuba yet.  You have to be going for some altruistic reason in order to go there from the USA or to visit family.

Hey Ultimo, I'll go to Key West and meet you halfway! ;)

(Key West is closer to Cuba than Miami, only 90 miles apart.)

You have a friend from England, not sure how legal it is me importing them for you, but I will look into it... if I can I will do it for you JD.

As for the weddings I have no Idea about all that, I'm just going for the holiday!

I don't think that's illegal to do it this way, I think a cigar shop I saw online from Ireland will ship them to the US.

No cigars for you......

Q: I have read that you may bring Cuban cigars into the United States for personal use. In other words, the trade embargo does not prohibit the import of small quantities of Cuban cigars. Is that true?
Gary P. Arsenault
Virginia Beach, Virginia

A: You've heard wrong. The Trading with the Enemies Act, which includes the Cuban trade embargo, specifically prohibits the importation of all Cuban goods, in whatever quantity. There is an exception. If you can obtain an official Cuban visa, which is available to academics and journalists and sometimes professionals who are attending events such as film and art festivals in Cuba, you may bring up to $100 of Cuban goods if you travel directly from Cuba to the U.S. mainland. But if you purchase those Cuban products in a third country on your way back to the United States, you are subject to the embargo's restrictions. Fines can be stiff for illegal travel to Cuba, and although it is still rare, you can be fined for trying to import Cuban goods. By the way, we've discovered that the U.S. Customs service is being much more thorough in its attempts to stop the illegal imports of Cuban cigars. Seizures of cigars are up at every major airport in the United States.

I hope its a big one....and with wheels...I dont want you hurting yourself trying to carry me. nana.gif

Get fuji brand underwater camera's they take the best pictures. The color of the water is true with those. The other brands, the water looks blue not green.

One american dollar is like a $20.00 to the poor people, get a bunch of ones and tip them alot...it keeps your stuff in your rooms and not messed with. We tipped the maids daily to make sure they thought we were nice.

ooooh I want to go soooooo bad. Take lots of pictures so we can live through you!!!!

I still say, if anyone in the US wants anything from Cuba, just go to Key West. I'm sure it's still not legal, it's just the stuff that's been floated over and not caught by the coast guard, but there's no customs to go through.

There's even a cigar shop in Key West where there's a guy in the front window rolling cigars and will roll one for you. They don't say that they're Cuban, but they don't say they aren't, either.
