Well day one of hell is over biggrin.gif We had a little hitch in our plans but its working out anyway. We got a call yesterday that the deed to the house wasnt here yet, and we couldnt close until next week. I yelled a little and the bank and the title company are trying really hard to make everything work out. So as long as everything goes as planned, we will be homeowners tomorrow...only one day late. We went ahead and had our appliances delivered tonight anyway and did some work around the house. We arent supposed to move in until after closing but we are going to make a couple trips since we have rented a trailer and have help to get the big stuff moved.

oh and then the people that brought that appliances were just a bunch of morons...their truck broke down...so they got a uhaul....they didnt have any tools or an appliance cart. They carried a 25 cubic foot side by side fridge up the stairs. rofl.gif I was just sick watching them....just waiting for them to drop it.

That must've been a sight! Why is it that soo many of these guys in the business of delivering major appliances can be so dim? Not all of them, but some I've encountered madde me wonder if their mom had to dress them in the morning cuz they weren't clever enough to do it themselves.

Well..I am posting from my new house....in my new bed. I am using my neighbors wireless connection biggrin.gif Its been a long road to getting this far....and we have sooooo much more to do. We are mostly moved...just a few things left. Unpacking will take months no.gif


I am going to sleep now...just wanted to update ya'll.

Thanks for the update...I wondered how y'all were doing! smile  Unpacking is the worst of it...everything you had in your old place had its proper order, and now it needs its place in your new home. Some of it is fun though! I like the feeling of seeing my things find the right space in a new home. biggrin
