Morning Everyone.  Its a beautifu day with cloudy overcast. And I am off to KC tomorrow !!!!!!!!!!!!!! plan to get drunk, party, and see Chaka Khan ( in concert for pride weekend).  BTW Sunday is my birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ( hint hint JR. I will have to do my t-10 on monday as I wont be able to hear you on sunday till late) smile.gif

Howdy Folks.


Do you ever use the phrase "Once in a blue moon"? Well, today is a blue moon. What is a blue moon? No, it is not a Smurf exposing his backside. A blue moon is when you have a second full moon in the same month. We had a full moon on the 1st of this month and now again on the 31st.

So, how often is "once in a blue moon"? It is about every 2.5 years.

Just another FYI, in case you didn't know, Uranus is blue too:

That doesn't really matter though because no one ever says "once in a blue Uranus".

Uranus does have moons so I suppose you could say "once in a blue Uranus moon" but that would be all the time and what would be the point in using that phrase?

Hey Web, if Uranus is blue that sounds like a medical problem to me....better have that checked out soon!!  wink

This evening is my daughter's graduation.....she's over at the school right now for a breakfast they put on for the seniors, then a rehearsal follows.  We're hoping for no rain....they hold the ceremony in the football stadium.  Going to be a warm one too......humid with upper 80's.

everyone is gabby today!


Morning all- had another bad morning this time with the boy. I am gonna try to find someone to do some family counseling today I hope. My insurance only covers $10 for any mental health support/treatment. Yeah good luck with me finding someone that works that cheap-heck for $10- I could buy a gun!weirdface


Okay I will go and seek some professional help!
