LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- A judge has ordered Paris Hilton returned to jail to serve out her 45-day sentence for a parole violation in a reckless driving case.

She was taken from court screaming.

"It's not right!" shouted the weeping Hilton. "Mom!" she called out to her mother in the audience.

Yeah! I have a feeling if the judge hadn't made her go back to jail, there would have been riots in L.A.
Al Sharpton was already getting a group together to rally.

I think that people are just getting tired of these rich kids getting to do whatever they want with no consequences.

I'm amazed how many media types did an about face today and started coming to her side.

Apparantly she was a mess in court. Shaking, crying, twitching. The Sheriff is claiming she has a major psychological problem.

They're saying the average citizen wouldn't get 23 days in jail for driving without a license, which might be true, but they're ignoring the facts in my opinion.

1) This is after THREE incidents. A DUI and then two times driving with a suspended license. The last time she was speeding (70 mph) with no headlights on in the dark.

I actually heard Ann Coulter (who even though I'm Republican I can NOT STAND) say that she didn't get into an accident so we can't punish her for what "could have happened".

SAY WHAT?

This chick needs to hit some poor pedestrian crossing the street at night as she speeds down the road at 70 mph with no headlights under a suspended license before we should actually punish her?

2) I think the judge has every right to take a persons attitude into consideration when deciding upon a sentence. Maybe you or I wouldn't have been given jail time, but odds are we'd appear repentent and upset.

Paris waltzed in late for her hearing and looking like the delay was so she could get her makeup just right for the press. She blamed everyone around her all three times and tried to play stupid (she didn't realize a suspended license meant she couldn't drive weirdface.gif)

I hope she's alright. I don't want to see her have a complete breakdown. But she deserves what she's getting.

Furthermore, her parents should be taken out and beaten for raising a child so cottled that she's completely incapable of surviving in the real world.

I think her biggest mistake was not having one of her many chauffers driving her around!?!? she should be punished for that ignorance...blankstare

They pointed that out too JD.

Just an example of how pampered and spoiled she is right? She just can't give up her right to drive.

Most of us would be on the friggin' BUS! Family and friends would only drive us around so long and we can't afford for limo's to take us everywhere!

Well, this won't be the end of it. Her suspended license lasts three years. I'm sure she'll be back in the news long before that.

Maybe! I wish I knew what she did though, but I heard her say that she was more than likely going to jail.

From ABC News:

In jail serving out the remainder of her sentence for violating parole on reckless driving charges, Paris Hilton phoned ABC News' Barbara Walters Sunday to discuss her state of mind, her experience in prison and how she feels she has changed.

Barbara Walters will discuss more of her conversation with Paris Hilton on "The View" at 11 a.m. ET.

Hilton said jail and the chaos surrounding her sentence have made her realize she must clean up her act.

"I used to act dumb," she told Walters in the exclusive phone conversation. "That act is no longer cute. Now, I would like to make a difference. ... God has given me this new chance."

Hilton confirmed to Walters just how terrible her initial three days in jail were. It might explain why she cried when she was handcuffed and transported back to jail from her Hollywood home.

"I was not eating or sleeping," she said. "I was severely depressed and felt as if I was in a cage. ... It was a horrible experience."

The unusual jailhouse call came about because Kathy Hilton, Paris' mother, phoned Walters. During the conversation, Paris rang in on another line. When told that Kathy was talking to Walters, Paris said she'd like to speak to Walters herself.

Walters then agreed to accept a collect call from Paris in jail. All prisoners are required to call collect.

Nicky Hilton, Paris' younger sister, described the jailed debutante as "being strong" on her way out of a jailhouse visit on Sunday. In a statement earlier that day, Paris directed her lawyers not to appeal her sentence and urged the media to focus on more important things like Iraq.

Ah, I see . . . she used to "act" dumb . . . now that's over.

Jail feels like a cage huh? Isn't that kind of what it is?

"...used to act dumb..."

That's the funniest understatement I've heard all day, and did she forget that she still is acting dumb? {{lol}}

Well, as much as I dislike Paris Hilton, I'm praying she's seriously learned something.

Anyone can turn themselves around at anytime if they really want to. Hopefully this will do it for her.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm EXTREMELY skeptical, but I really do hope she turns her life around and does some good with her fame and fortune.
