Amazing the live video they can supply now.

You were able to watch the entire lauch from the outside of the shuttle.  Right now I'm looking at the earth from just off the eastern coastline!

Everytime this launches now my stomach gets all knotted up with worry over the possibility of an accident.

I read this morning that it would be live on the web. I then forgot about it unitl JR posted this.

I heard that this launch is the first time an astronaut from Nebraksa has gone into space. smile.gif

The clooest thing about the launches and living here in FL is that we can walk out the front door and watch the shuttle lift off.  Even being 50 miles inland it's still clear as day...and night launches are the coolest....and when it come in to land, we get the twin sonic booms....if it's right over the house, it shakes like there's no tomorrow!
