Much MUCH harder.

These sad sacks haven't won ANYTHING in 25 years tears.gif

I just don't understand it.  We have the hitting.  We have the pitching.  BUT WE SUCK!

I can deal with a slump, but this is seven weeks of absolute sh*t now!  There is NO excuse for this!

This was a bogus no hitter anyway.

Ned Yost is a moron!

Our starting lineup has Craig Counsell hitting first and Tony Graffanino hitting second!

ANYONE who knows a damn thing about baseball knows that's a joke for the top of the lineup.  You would NEVER see a championship caliber team leading off with those two lightweights.  They would be 7'th and 8'th on any team that had a manager with a brain.

Well, the important thing is this is just one loss like any other.  If these guys could pull their heads out of their butts it won't matter in the long run.  But right now they seem to have them pretty well lodged in there hmm.gif

There IS no crying in baseball!  We're still up by 5.5 games.  We're still the only team in the division with a winning record.

Even though it was a hard loss it IS just ONE loss.  And both of the pathetic teams chasing us (Cubbies) lost too, so we didn't even drop a game in the standings.

I feel better.

But if the Tigers win one more out of this series you can expect to join Ruby and her Cubs on my most disliked list (well, I still like Ruby, but I hate her Cubs.  You know what I mean).

It seems like all of a sudden you became one of the well-to-do franchises though.

You used to be kind of a small market payroll, then suddenly you're buying Ivan Rodriguez and Gary Sheffield.  Those are names we'd NEVER be able to get to Milwaukee.

Well, we actually had Gary Sheffield when he was a punk kid.  That bastage actually told the local paper he purposely threw the ball in the stands for a two base error a couple times because he was ticked we weren't letting him play shortstop.

Kind of a "I'll show them, I'll play so bad at third they'll have to put me back at short" type thing!

I don't think you guys are a fluke.  If you can keep Cleveland at bay I think  you'll have many division championships in your future.
