Yes, the Yankees always find a way to get back into the race don't they. I do hope that they don't gain too much on us. At one point they were 14 games behind, so being 7 1/2 does seem just a bit too close for comfort.
The Red Sox did beat SF tonight. And the Fenway Faithful, boooooooed Barry Bond the steroid boy each time he came to the plate. Barry Bonds once told a reporter he would NEVER consider playing in Boston, he said it's a racist city.... you gotta be kidding me? Where he came up with this idea is a mystery. All the fans had Barry Bond Blinders on, they passed them out at the gate. And when he stepped up to the plate they put them over their eyes... it was priceless!!
lol. That's great. I just saw the highlights on Sportscenter and holy cow! I don't think I've ever heard a player booed as loudly as he was when he came to bat!
A guy literally handed out Red Blinders w/ Barry Bond Blinders.com written on them (some website like that not sure exactly) to all the fans. And they put them on, well, I am sure some didn't put them on, but I'm sure it costs whoever came up w/ this idea a pretty penny to make them, and give them out for free. I guess they want people to go on that website that's printed on them..
Maybe they're purposely not showing it to not advertise the guys website.
They just did a special segment on the game and showed all the people holding asterik signs and wearing shirts with big asteriks on them, but didn't show or mention a single blinder.
