Enough already!

Every 90 seconds I hear that stupid talking smiley in the advertisement above say "Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeello, SAY SOMETHING".

It's really starting to annoy me!  angered.gif

yeah it gets on my nerves too...had it happen this morning, but not since then

hmmm?? all i get are advertisements about starting your own forum. i have never gotten the smileys in here. i only get them in myspace.

I right clicked on them and unchecked the show all box and they have shut up, the image is still there but they arent screaming at me anymore. smile.gif

If you're running Firefox, try installing the "Adblock Plus" extension. That may kill it completely.

There's two different ones.

The one that says HEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! is only sounding if you roll your mouse over it.

But the "SAAAAAAY SOMETHING!  WHAAAAAAAAAT?" just goes and goes even if you don't go anywhere near it.

I HATE THEM!

omg the misquito one!!! it made me think I had a virus once!!! it just would not SHUT UP!!! with sound banner ads should be illegal. same with garbage mail that says IMPORTANT INFORMATION INSIDE.furious

I am on Safari (Mac) and I don't get any ads on the forum really, there is just a generic looking thing up for Actvieboard....

oh and by the way there has just been a BETA version of Safari relased for Windows, check it out if your sick of Explorer!
