It's official, we'll be off the air on June 26'th (Tuesday) for a national day of silence.
Actually, the way they're doing it is kind of annoying to me.
First, they're FORCING us off the air. Live365 will actually be replacing all of our feeds with a PSA announcing that we're off the air for a day and explaining why.
Second, and this is the part I find annoying and self-serving. If you're a VIP you'll hear the PSA when you log on and then you WILL be able to tune into the station as normal if we are broadcasting that day.
Seems to me they're trying to use this as an opportunity to talk people into paying for the VIP service.
At any rate, most of you won't be able to listen. As for the VIP's, I haven't decided yet if we'll broadcast to the reduced audience or if I'll just take the day to rest all the computers. They could use a good 24 hours of being completely turned off I suppose. They all run 24/7 all year long.
