As part of the concessions made by AT&T to the Federal Communications Commission to get its $86 billion acquisition of BellSouth Corp. approved last December, AT&T is now offering a $10.00 a month DSL plan.
It is EXACTLY the same as their $19.95 plan, but they are not advertising it and pretty much hiding it on their website since obviously they're rather you pay the higher rate.
The plan is for 768kb download and 128kb upload. That's fast enough for just about any web surfer other than Webguy or some dufus trying to run a radio station out of his spare room
