Morning all. Today I finally get to hear the new preacher at a new church we have been trying out. I hope it goes well because we all seem to really like this church. My husband has even been going for 5 weeks straight! Not much else planned. Need to go to the grocery store and E wants to go to the pool, but mother nature might not cooperate. We really, really, really need the rain.

Most Sunday mornings, I'm pretty happy to get up and get going because I enjoy my morning events. Today, I'm thinking I wouldn't mind sleeping a few more hours. We went to see mom-in-law yesterday so maybe I can get a nap in this afternoon.

Yeah, that will be good if it works out.

It's 8:20 now and it's already the hottest and most humid it's been all summer. Absolutely icky out there. 97 is the latest prediction for a high temp.

Well, I've got my 60 Olds shined up and I'm heading out to Waukesha. Summerfest this afternoon. A guy we know is playing the Classic Rock Stage at noon. INXS tonight but, I don't think we'll stay that long. There is talk of returning in the eve.

Good day all. I'm really proud of myself this weekend. Today I got to sleep in until 10, then I made breakfast and cleaned the rest of the house and did laundry. Now I think I'm going to blow the rest of the day off.

She is still in the same nursing home. She seems to be doing relatively well right now. She is getting grumpy about little insignificant things so that is actually a good sign.
