Have any of you ever wanted to buy your guy friends or Fathers flowers and have them sent to their work place or home but thought nah that's too sappy or nah they wouldn't like that?
Just wondering if any of you ever have thought this?

No, I never have and probably wouldn't have thought of it. I bought a guy a plant he wanted once, but that's as close as I've ever gotten to "saying it with flowers." Why?

I just finished telling my mom that my boyfriend and I are buying a cactus today for his apartment It's going to be our first "our" thing and he said I can give him sunglasses and a sombrero...I've named him Spike it's easier than a pet and less responsibility than flowers or a plant because he can go underway for a week and not worry about not having anyone around to water it.
How about say Valentine's day you wanted to send something to your guy friends but figured flowers are too sappy, would you be interested in a service that delivers other things?

That would be cool, but not necessarily for Valentine's Day (I'd probably be with him). There used to be a service in my college town that did something like that, and they thrived becuase they did unique packages. For example, they would deliver a gourmet meal from a local restaurant to the guy, delivered a "party" (champagne, a little cake, and a custom gift), etc.

hmm that would be interesting. I have thought about sending something to my guy friends but always worried about what their girlfriend or wife would think especially if it were flowers.

I used to send flowers to guys I was dating, and most of them enjoyed receiving them.
For my guy friends, I send books I think they'd enjoy reading. One of my guy friends does a lot of reading and writing so I send him journals, nice bookmarks, masculine looking stationery, clip on book lights, nice pens, stuff like that. Since he lives out of the country, I have to use regular mail to send stuff to him though.

A lady got flowers delivered yesterday and one of the guys said, we never get anything delivered to us half joking of course, but wouldn't it be nice if we got a bouquet of hot wings and ranch with a card!

Ok all you men out there......what kind of stuff would you like to have delivered to you? Sparky wants hot wings and ranch along with a card. What about the rest of you guys? If you were having a bad day or had been feeling down, what would you like delivered to you that would cheer you up without embarrassing you in front of co-workers?
I asked one of the guys I work with today and he said he would love to get some Ipod stuff - one of the gift cards, smoe new earbuds and skins. I thought that was a cool idea! I bet younger men would really get into that especially.
