Two years ago today...

Webguy was still known as Dovetails.

We were all wondering where JennyCat was, she hadn't checked in for awhile.

I was celebrating my 2,000'th post and second star.

Fuzzy, Ray, CP, Dylan & Star were all regular posters.

Where will we all be in 2009?  confused.gif

Yeah, back then I was neck and neck with JD. Sometimes I'd have the lead, sometimes he would.

Now he crushes me!

I'm not even sure what you're trying to say here, but I sense it calls for one of these:  evileye.gif

How would you know that LS, do you keep a journal or diary?  I wouldn't know what I did 8 years ago today if someone told me I would get a million dollars to answer correctly.

I have TONS of journals and diaries.  But I keep a concert list on an Excel file, which I can access quickly here at work.  It has all of my shows in chronological order.  The date, the bands, the venue, and who I went with.  This thread got me to wondering what I was doing on this date, so I checked the Concert List and scrolled backwards.

It's funny, because for years, my husband & some of my friends made fun of me for being so anal with the Concert List.  But then I watch them sit around and go "Wait - wasn't that opening for White Lion?"  "No - I think they were headlining..."  "But we saw them twice on that tour, didn't we?"  etc.  And they're scratching their heads, wishing they could remember.  Mine is at the touch of a few buttons...  smile.gif

My ticket stubs and backstage passes are in photo albums in chronological order also.  They're fun to look back on.

I bet if you added up the first 4 concert tickets you went to, it wouldn't add up to the most recent ONE. smile

I have a couple of albums filled with old ticket stubs, in order. I should really get back into doing that -I have about 2 yrs worth of stubs to get into an album. and it is fun to look back- I remember a little bit of something from each night- pretty sure the stubs go back to about 1985 or 6...

Probably wouldn't add up to the "Service charge" fees Ticketmaster or whatever other rapist company ADDED to the price of the most recent ONE!
