It was on this date in 1862 that congress approved the nation's highest award for bravery. It is not the Congressional Medal of Honor. More correctly it is the Army, Navy or Air Force Medal of Honor. (Navy version shown as our background today).

Yes. Early Dave was classic and very, very missed.

Late Dave was a jerk, plain and simple.

But I think Ruby (and me too for that matter) believes the REAL Dave was the first one, not the one that wound up leaving the forum in a huff.

Not really JD. Maybe that is what y'all saw at the end. But we talked on the phone quite a bit and pmed each other all the time too. He was a good friend. I hurt his feelings I believe and that is why he lashed out at me. He also knew I could take it.
