I had a rough night last night. I had a headache, so I took a benadryl and went to bed. Then I got woke up by the headache at 3:30, along with some sweating and chills. I took some pseudophedrine and some naproxen and had a cup of hot tea and put an icepack on my head, and finally got some sleep, albeit broken. I missed taking my allergy drops for a few days, and then took the full dose when I took them again, and I think it messed with my system. (Usually when I get a new bottle I have to work up to the full dose.) So today I started back like it was day 1 for the bottle, and I feel okay now except for being tired.
Block Island was fun yesterday. I took some pictures, I'll post a few later on.
The ferry ride up there was a bit rough, and choppy, but coming home last night was a lot better. We sat at the beach bar, rode mopeds, and had dinner. The sun was setting on the ferry ride home.
Oh I hope you stay feeling better Mz! I did get some sleep last night after some sleep aid and a drink. The internet here is pretty bad. A coworker came up and asked how it was working for us. After chatting I encouraged her to talk to the boss because her job having internet trouble could be costing us. She purchases things like postage online and she submits orders for a company. She said that every time she submits it tells her that it can't find the server. She she may have ordered double by the time she is thru. I hope she does talk to the boss and we actually get some help for this issue. My music won't stream worth nothing so I am thinking about just playing something else that I have stored on the computer.
Have a good day all!

Morning all! I woke up to the sound of jackhammers and cement saws at 7:00 this morning. For some reason they're tearing up the road in front of my house and now I'm wondering how I'm supposed to get out of my driveway. Maybe if I ask them nice, they'll move the big truck that's blocking the approach so I can get my car out before the holes in the pavement get too big.
Mz, I hope you feel better! Darlene, sounds like you had a fun time! Woo, sorry you're having all those internet problems!
good luck with the construction GD! They have been working on our road forever and they are all idiots! Last night they wouldn't let us come home! We had to go shopping and return.

Hello all! I slept in a bit this morning. My daughter is going to be spending the day and night with her great-grandparents today. I will have to find something to get into. My best friend called and wants to hang out so we might take the dogs back to the creek.
I forgot to set my alarm clock back to 8 AM for today, so at 5 AM it woke me up!
I was really happy when I looked at it and saw I had THREE MORE HOURS to sleep, but unfortunately it woke my dog up too, and you can't explain to a dog that the clock was set wrong She thought it was time to get up so she whined non-stop for the next three hours
Now I have a headache, and I'm tired because I didn't really fall back asleep at all after five.
the dog i have now is probably the best dog i have ever had. she is obedient and great with other people and dogs. she kinda has the laid back attitude that i have.
I have paid out a lot in vet bills though. Living out in the country, I let her stay outside a lot. She is a terrier and loves being outdoors. This comes at a price though because she gets into things occassionally. She drank motor oil once and that set me back $800 at the vet.
morning everyone! i took a personal day yesterday to get some loose ends taken care of in the office and i'm seeing a storm brewing on my personal horizon. my daughter has been hinting that she wants to sit out a tri. i think this is a bad idea because she is so close to graduating and i don't think she'll go back; it doesn't look like the company my husband works for will be in business much longer -- i'd be suprised if it doesn't close it's doors by the end of the year; my mother informed me that my brother is really drinking A LOT and saying crazy things meantime, his wife is battling breast cancer...
well, we'll see how it all plays out...

I worked as a veterinary technician for about three years so I know all about the different breeds and their problems. I can also diagnose many of the times what is wrong with my dog, if she gets sick.

Yikes! That's a lot of stuff on your mind at one time!
I think a lot of kids take a little time off when they're nearing the end of college. Seems like the reality of school life ending and having to enter the real world get's em' a little weak knee'd.
They start with the whole "This is possibly the last time in my life I'll be able to take a long vacation, pretty soon I'll only get two weeks off every year, blah blah blah" stuff.
But I would think if she's only a few credits short of finishing you wouldn't have to worry too much about her going back, if for no other reason than she'll get better job opportunities with the degree on her resume.
I like Rex, I don't want another dog. He spent the day yesterday at the doggy daycare center while, Kaisha, Charlie and I went to Block Island.... he loves doggy daycare. They put them in rooms age and size appropriate, put TV shows on (all doggy kinds) and take them outside for swims in small pools....
Wow, I soooooo did not want to get out of bed today...and I still want to go back! It's not that I'm all that tired, it was just so wonderful to be there! Hahaha! Ever feel like that?
