JD here again-


Just wanted to let the listeners know that at Friday at 10 pm CST the station rebroadcasts the previous Sunday's Underground 80's. So nice, it hits the air twice.

AW MAN!! I am able to access the listener stats and did last Fridays rebroadcast of an Underground 80's from August send listeners fleeing in DROVES!!!!!! They wanted to hear Whitney Houston and (eghad) KAJA GOOGOO and they ended up with Soundgarden, Fishbone and Joy Division!! I am thankfull to my regular Sunday audience for packing the house, them friday night listeners are whimps who cry for their Simply Red and Cyndi Lauper!!

How DARE you blast our CORE audience!!!!!


Cyndi Lauper pays the bills!  Joy Division merely gives us variety!


Now if you ever call our listeners Wimps again I may have to pull out my VETO pen and delete your post!

hey doc


I tuned out at 8:30 because my shift was over and i don't like to stay at work any longer than I have to, not even to listen to underground 80s  Until you can get your internet stream onto my car radio there's nothing i can do


I will try to tune in Sunday afternoon though.

We'll, I don't want to get all nostalgic but, it is people like these two that make radio a valid source. FFR isn't musically pushing the envelope but, the feel is different than most other internet stations. The fact the Jeremy is a Forum member makes it personal.
Anyway, I thought that JD would appreciate this...one of his "idols".

The article talks about deejays that push the limit and maybe, in that push, play things we would have never heard and honestly might not like but, you don't know until it gets air time.

These two saw My Morning Jacket before they hit it big.
