Grand Master Hasselhoff?

Old-school rapper Ice T has apparently revealed that he is to produce a new hip hop album by Baywatch star David Hasselhoff, who will be working under the name 'Hassle The Hoff'.

The news originally came out early last year, but Ice T denied any such involvement, however according to recent articles in the SUN newspaper and Ireland Online News, the album is going ahead.

51-year-old Hasselhoff has already had a string of pop hits in Germany, where he's even had gold and triple platinum album sales, but he now wants to be a rap star, and Ice T believes he will be able to take on some of the biggest names in hip hop.

Ice T is quoted as saying: "He's gonna come out as Hassle The Hoff - I promise you. The Hoff will surprise people with his rap skills and humour. The man is a legend, we are going to show a whole new side of him."

I should point out that the standard for Gold & Platinum album sales are different in Germany than they are here.

In the US you must sell 500,000 copies to go Gold, and 1,000,000 for each platinum certification.

In Germany you are awarded a Gold album if atleast 10 stores stock your CD, and a platinum if atleast half of those sell.

Z'at you, Squonk?!

Herbie's OK, I guess.  But I have mine in the Monkeemobile, which is the coolest in my Monkees-fan mind.  I know fans are no longer allowed in the Batmobile, which is sad...

Who is the guy in the first picture?
