Morning Ruby,

Holiday was good thanks, first week went to Blackpool, saw lots of good shows, and did all the tourist stuff, went to a cool drag show called Funny Girls, fantastic night and saw British comedian Russell Brand, you ladies might like him!



The second week was just at home with the parents, saw family and did a few family things, like a safari park visit and a museum one too, went to see Hairspray too, that was good.

Sounds like a blast! Did you get to see your neice? And when you say you saw shows- do you mean  you finally saw a concert?

Hello I am off in a minute to physical therapy. The cook out i was going to is now cancelled.  I hope that this day takes a serious turn for the better.

Well today has not started out well. My husband went to bed after taking some Benadryl last night. He had trimmed some bushes and his eyes had been bothering him ever since. When he woke up his eyes were swollen and it kind of reminded me of the beginning stages of what Will Smith looked like in that scene from Hitch. I gave him more Benadryl and a compress and he used that as I drove us to work.

We got to work and the internet is completely out. They now got it up and running but not sure how well it is working yet.

My coworker told me "So I hear that you are gonna be working on the piecerates while I am off next week.." I told her that it was news to me and she said that my supervisor was supposed to get with me. I blew up and said that no one ever does my work, plus that is a payroll week and the week after I have jury duty!

I am not happy.

Well, the plan for tonight is to make our anniversary CD for this weekend.  Every year, we make a CD of songs for our anniversary, and then listen to it while we celebrate.  We usually go up to Indy, but this weekend we decided to go to Brown County instead.  Brown County is a bit of wilderness, has several state and county parks, used to be an artist colony, and has a tiny little town of Nashville with a bunch of little shops.  We're going to do some hiking, some shopping, have a nice dinner, then stay at a B&B in a room by their pond.  It should be nice.

 

Oh Happy Anniversary MZ... have fun.

Praying for Ruby today she has a funeral and a DR's appt for her son today.

You should so go Pip, it's a great night, I loved it, so much fun. As for the weather, it's not Blackpool without the rain is it! We had a couple of nice days though!

Went on the Big One for first time too, have you been on that Pip, it's one hell of a coaster!
