The things I pondered during my lunch hour?

I sat in my car after paying CVS a visit for some stuff.  And as I watched the clock until I had to return back to work, I was pondering a few questions... and was just wondering if anyone had anything to add.

1. Why is it some damn expensive to get your dry cleaning done.  And why is it cheaper for a man's shirt to be dry cleaned, but a woman has a "blouse" so it's more money?

2. Wouldn't you think that those tubes that they have in the indoor playgrounds for kids to be just full of germs?  It's like a germ factory for your kids.  Thank God they didn't have them when Kaisha was a toddler, they have just become popular the past 10 years or so.

3. How do people fall in love with people that they've never met?  I am not saying it can't be done, and I know a woman personally who's engaged to guy in Florida, that she met on the internet, and she's never met him?

4. Lastly, with only 55 more games to the regular Red Sox schedule, will they win the American League East this year, up 7 games right now?

1. I don't do dry cleaning! I like Dryel and I hate the prices. I am thinking that maybe it is a money thing- they get more men's shirts than womens. Mass discount.

2. I am not a germaphob luckily- I think everything is germy and you can't dwell!

Oh to have love based on talking not looks...that would be nice... to be above the rest...

Response to #3: I don't understand how people can get married without ever living together. That first year living together, getting used to each other's habits, is the hardest.

Hmmm, interesting questions . . .


1. I don't know. I guess because they can get away with it.

2. Yes, they are. My wife cringes when our son plays in that stuff. But, you can't keep them in a bubble.

3. I don't know that either, but I will say that I wonder if its almost better because there is a chance they got to know the person before having their judgment clouded by sex or physical appearances.

4. I don't know this one either . . . I have no red socks. I only have white, black, brown, and navy . . . and they are pretty straight socks, they don't play games with me.

My friend Jay's mother received an engagement ring in the mail, and she is planning to visit him for the first time in a few weeks....

She recieved it in the Mail?? weirdface.gif

I do wish her well though, I know she's been in search of for a very long time.
