Yay! I have no jury duty today! But I am tired as hell. hmm
I had a weird dream this morning. Me and my husband were shopping. I purchased something and the sales lady asked me a question that I don't remember then she said that she was gonna have to take me to the back room to answer some questions. I turned to my husband who acted like it was normal procedure saying "oh she just needs to find out if you are lying" So both of us get taken to this other room that looks like it may be their break room. There is a table for me to sit at with headphones to wear and a controller with the yes/no buttons. My husband sits in a chair a little bit behind me. I put on the headphones and the questions start and I am supposed to answer yes/no with the controller but my husband has fallen asleep and is snoring so loud that I can't hear the questions. So I start yelling at him at him but he won't stay awake.
I woke up shortly after that to find that my husband is really snoring very loudly!laughing.gif

I feel like I didn't even sleep so i guess it wasn't very restful.

Good morning everyone.  Might as well count me in as not sleeping well last night along with the rest of you.  I had a nasty headache that just wouldn't go away even though I tried to kill it with a lot of Tylenol.  About 2 hours ago it finally went away.

It's raining here today but I'm not complaining because we desperately need it.  It's been way too dry all summer......I think the grass has only been cut 3 or 4 times because it isn't growing. 

I gotta do some laundry, pay a few bills, and come up with something for dinner tonight.......it's been too hot and nothing even sounds good to me.  hmm

Good morning.

I'm not looking forward to this week. Its supposed to be hot and humid all week long only to get worse this weekend.

My wife is excited though. Her favorite cousin from Colorado is coming Saturday night to spend a couple days with us. It will be fun having them here. We have some stuff planned that should be fun.

Nope, black.  With a black skirt with butterflies, but a couple butterflies are blue.  And the straps on my flip flops are blue.  Does that count?

Good morning all! Bleh, Tuesday...not enough sleep once again and it's rainy and muggy. Late last night there was a beautiful thunderstorm - a rather long-lasting downpour that was soothing and normally would put me right to sleep. Unfortunately, I still kept waking up for no good reason. The cat kept giving me the evileye for being restless and disturbing her comfy place of rest on my hip.

No meetings today - that's a rarity and I look forward to it! I hopefully will get a lot done.

No, Sparky, I am not wearing a blue shirt...I'm sporting Harley black and orange. But then, perhaps my work is the exception to the rule - every day is black and orange day around here! laughing.gif

Today is a good nap day. It is raining and is very dark out. Like GD said we need the rain, but it sure aain't helping with my motivation. I also have to wear my wrist brace cuz it is killing me today from the weather.

YAY!  it's friday -- going on vacation tomorrow biggrin.  jake would rather go to football practice, so he's not going.  hubby will have to jockey him to and from.

I think I've told this story before, but here goes anyway. smile.gif

When I was still working in Lincoln in the cabinet shop, I had a purple t-shirt that was my favorite. For some reason, I started purposely wearing it on Thursdays.

We worked 9 hour days and then got off at noon on Fridays. Three of us liked to go out to eat together at least one day a week, so we picked Thursday (our "Friday") as our day to do that. There was a Burger King within walking distance that we went to a lot.

Over time, the girl that usually waited on us, began teasing me about how I always wore a purple t-shirt. Soon, one and then the other of the two that I went with started wearing purple shirts on Thursday as well, just to mess with her. Once in a while, we would go other days of the week too and she realized that it was just on Thursdays that we wore purple shirts.

Annnnnnnnnnnnnny way . . . We set her up one week. We planned it to wear our purple shirts on Wednesday and go to Burger King for lunch. We got there and she had a confused look on her face. Finally she said "Why are you guys in purple today? Its Wednesday." We started looking at her like she was an idiot and argued with her that she was a day off and it was Thursday. She was doing that thing where she would argue and laugh at us, but then you could tell she was really thinking about it and wasn't 100% sure.

The manager was working right behind her and by the time we got our food, he had caught on to what was happening. Finally she turned to the manager and asked him what day it was. I thought for sure we were busted, but he played right into it and said "It's Thursday, why?" That was all it took, she bought it. We were watching her while we ate and the whole time, she just had this "what the heck" look on her face.

She must have figured it out later, because the next time we were in she had a few choice words for us.

I concure Sparky. I woke up and the world is as it should be. Beautiful and GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am going to relax with a good book and listen to some FFR. It will be a great day.

AWWW HEll who am I kidding. I feel like crap. I want to rip someones head off and I NEED A MARGARITA! ( 8 DAYS NO SMOKINGbiggrin.gif)

I have a red striped shirt that I am wearing today. I LOOK FABULOUS!
