what is everyones fav band or solo artist to arrive on the scene in the last ten years?


For me it's matchbox twenty.  I love all their albums.  But I think they've already broken up

I would say Nirvana, just for killing the hair metal bands alone...but that's over a decade now....hahaha I guess nothing has really impressed me much since Soundgarden's SuperUnknown or Black Crowes The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion....That is why I turned to jazz!!

Oh, now. I loved the hair bands. However, my favorite band of the last decade (not including Duran Duran, which some of you may have noticed that I LOVE) is the Goo Goo Dolls. I love their music. I have all of their CDs and wait impatiently for the next one to come out. Matchbox 20 is pretty good, as well.

Yea I like some Goo Goo Dolls, "Name", "Broadway"...

Maybe Green Day? I too like the Goo Goo Dolls, I also love  Hootie and the Blowfish!
