I am here but I am too busy to be here. So I don't think I will be around much this morning. I am swamped with still trying to get data entered for payroll. Went to the memorial service for my coworker's son yesterday. It was so sad. I don't do well at that stuff anymore. But she was strong and spoke very well. Better than some of his friends. I don't think I could of done that. She spoke for a long time too!

My husband is stressed and crabby but breathing better. However I need to stay away from him or I may hurt him.

Our company is still here until tomorrow morning. The gals are sitting and chatting over coffee. The hubby got new golf clubs this week so he wanted to go out to the golf course by himself and try out the new clubs.

I'm going to work a while since I have some time here before he gets back.

Happy Monday one and all!

Just got home from Target where I spent five minutes listening to the annoying woman in front of me berate a young female clerk about the fact that a gallon of milk was $4.28.

The woman JUST KEPT GOING.  Telling this poor girl that they're trying to rip her off and that she can go to the grocery store and get it for $2.00 a gallon.

Okay,

A)  NO, you CAN'T.  Milk is outrageous right now and I know for a fact the lowest price they've had at Pick N' Save has been $3.49 and that's when it's on sale.

2)  SHUT UP!

C)  If you're so worried about price why wouldn't you check the price tag that's RIGHT ON THE FRIGGIN' SHELF.

4)  REALLY, SHUT UP!

E)  What exactly do you think this $6.00 an hour clerk can do about the fact your two gallons of milk are "over-priced"?  You think when she finishes her shift listening to blowhards like you that she gets on the corporate jet and flies to Minnesota where she heads up the purchasing and pricing meetings?

6)  PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS HOLY, PUT THE MILK BACK AND JUST SHUT THE HELL UP!!!!

Hm, I wonder if it varies by state, but I can get a gallon of Kroger brand 1% on sale right now for $2, it's usually $2.99. I think the organic stuff is over $4.

But I agree, you can't haggle, you either buy it or put it back.

You would think with all the cows around here milk would be cheap.

I've never checked the store brand, I usually buy Golden Gurnsey, and the truth is I don't drink much milk anyway.

I just got a gallon last night for $2.99 and thats pretty average. If its on sale its usually about $2.00 as well.

its special penguin milk. Oh and about the ranting....when you see someone being like that to a clerk or someone working....tell them to shut up...tell them the same thing you told us. As a person that works with the public I cant do that at work...but its sure nice when someone will say it for me.


Last week at Target, a lady was complaining to the clerk about the price of something and that it was too crowded, I told her if she didnt like the prices and the crowds to not shop there and go home. The lady thanked me for shutting her up giggle.gif

Okay, I'm giving in and admitting I feel like crap. I've been trying to deny it all day, but it's finally getting the best of me. I think I'm getting a sinus infection. I have a headache that's spread to my face and teeth, and although my arms are cold, my head is warm. I'm breaking out my steamer when I get home, and hopefully I can kick it. Ugh.
