The Rolling Stones will reportedly quit touring for good after playing London's O2 Arena this Sunday (26.08.07).

The veteran rockers are believed to have declared that their current 'A Bigger Bang Tour' will be their last because frontman Sir Mick Jagger, 64, and guitarist Keith Richards, 63, will be too old to do another.

A source said: "We've been told this will be the last tour. Embarking on a Stones world tour takes years to plan. Mick and Keith would be in their late 60s by the time they would be ready to rock once more."

Mick, Keith, drummer Charlie Watts, 66, and guitarist Ronnie Wood, 60, end their massive two-year tour this week with three dates at the new O2 Arena, with their final performance on Sunday (26.08.07).

its a shame, but no suprise I don't think. Go out while you still arguably put on the best show in the world!

lol its just wrong to have Jagger singing "Rocks Off" at his age too.smile

I bet they put out some great albums in the next decade tho. Old blues stuff...

Glad I gota a chance to see them a few times (twice I think) Once in the late 70's and one a few years back.

I remember reading that Rod Stewart has a hard time singing Do Ya Think I'm Sexy!biggrin

I saw them 4 times- 82, 88, 94, 99- great each time. The '99 show I was 10 rows back and 10 up to the side of Keith. Brilliant! smile

what I paid for those seats wouldn't even get me in the last row this tour!!hmm
